Are you a potentional member of the new IFHE-WHO team?
UPDATE: WHO has launched an effort to create a series of Guides to Climate Resilient, Low Carbon healthcare facilities.
IFHE want to inform our expert volunteers about changes in the project.
In October the IFHE issued a call for volunteers to work with the WHO to provide peer review services for some publications they want to create.(See original article below)
Many of you responded, and we are very very grateful to all of you.
However, as we were getting ready to submit your names, the WHO changed course. They have decided that they will be issuing a Request for Proposals to do the writing of the document(s).
The IFHE is in the process of assembling a consortium of different organizations to be prepared to submit a proposal, when the formal request is issued.
We are very excited to have the possible opportunity to help the WHO, and, through them, healthcare organizations throughout the world, but it is by no means guaranteed.
So, we are keeping the information for everyone who has volunteered. Once the required effort becomes clearer, we will try to take advantage of the generosity, and the expertise of our incredible IFHE volunteers.
For now, if you are interested, you can still let us know, and we are building a database of potential volunteers. We will try to keep you informed, as we learn more. We are hopeful that we can assemble a great team, and compete effectively for the honor to help WHO in this important effort.

Article from October:
As you know, the IFHE is in Official Relations with the World Health Organization (WHO).
Once more, the WHO has reached out to us for help.
The WHO is launching an effort to create a series of Guides to Climate Resilient, Low Carbon healthcare facilities. They will establish an internal writing committee, and have requested that we provide groups of External Reviewers. The first two topics are Thermal Energy, and Energy Generation and Storage.
The IFHE is recruiting expert volunteers to be part of the IFHE-WHO team. We are especially interested in diversity of geography and gender.
If any member of any A-member organization is interested and qualified, please have them contact Second Vice President, Walt Vernon, of the IFHE. Walt is coordinating this effort, and he will connect you to the WHO.
This is a very important initiative, and we look forward to the ability to provide our knowledge to WHO for the benefit of all people around the world.
If you have any questions, you may also contact Mr. Vernon. He is reachable at walterv@mazzetti.com
Thank you for your service to your organization, the IFHE, and the health of people and the planet.
